The VBR200W is the new Blu-ray player Vizio. Vizio is similar to the previous two Blu-ray players, but they have added some extra features. Mainly, Internet Vizio Apps and Wi-Fi capabilities. You are now able to stream Netflix movies online Vulu or a wireless connection.

The VBR200W has a design a bit thin, measuring 2.4 inches tall. Controls are located on the front of the player. All controls are sensitive to touch. The disc tray Silver is in the front half of the player. The front has a glossy black finish, giving mostly to the design of a very high-tech look. All connections Input and output are in the back of the Blu-ray player.

Video Quality: The VBR200W offers Full HD 1080p when playing a Blu-ray. It scales up standard DVDs to near high definition levels. There are three options for connecting video, including: HDMI (ver. 1.3), Component and Composite outputs. An HDMI connection offers the best video output when playing Blu-ray and DVD discs.

Audio quality: The 7.1 provides VBR200W multichannel surround sound through HTMI. Other connections Analogue audio (2.0ch), optical / coaxial digital outputs. It has internal audio decoding Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Unfortunately, there are no 7.1 analog outputs. You can however access BD-Live content when connected to the Internet. Many Blu-ray will have interactive features of content or you can download or participate in. BD-Live content will include such things as updated movie trailers, deleted scenes, documentaries, trivia games, chat rooms and live commentary. There is no internal memory on this player Vizio therefore required to insert a memory device for accessing external storage BD-Live content. 1 GB Flash Drive inserted into the USB port should be sufficient.

THE PROS: The VBR200W Vizio has very good video and audio quality. You get full play in 1080 Blu-ray via HDMI. Account with internal audio decoding of DTS-HD and Dolby Digital TrueHD. It has built in Wi-Fi and Internet access as VUDU streaming service, Netflix, Pandora Internet Radio, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Associated Press and The New York Times.

THE CONS: Does not have a quick start mode. It does not have DLNA. As means that you can not connect to your home network and stream video or music files from your computer.

THE FINAL WORD: The Vizio VBR200W offers a wealth of features at a very reasonable price (MSRP is $ 199.99). The VBR200W has very good quality audio and video as well as built-in Wi-Fi and online transmission services. Most users find the settings and menu options easy to navigate.
