Question Blu-Ray/DVD/HD DVD?

Hello, I am very confused at the moment and need some help. I'm buying a flat screen HDTV. Until now I used an old-fashioned standard TV and a standard DVD player. My problems arise when considering whether to get an HD DVD player or a player Blu-Ray. For starters, I've never been buying a movie, and had the choice between standard DVD and HD DVD. They have always just said DVD or Blu-ray (and Blu-ray has been available of course). Are all high-definition DVDs are relatively new, if a player plays HD and HDTV? I have many movies I want to see in the future, but can be played on a HD player? And if so, are of quality or need specific HD HD DVD? O Should I get a Blu-Ray player and see all my old DVDs on the Xbox or something. Basically, can you advise I need? If you can provide information detailed comparison etc. Blu-Ray, HD DVD and then I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

Blu-Ray and HD DVD is used for both, but Blu-Ray said was the most superior in quality. Blu-Ray was originally a product of Sony, but is now the official name for all high-definition discs for any other brand. So when you say "Blu-Ray" or "Blu-Ray Disc", which means an HD DVD. If you buy an HDTV without a Blu-Ray player it would defeat the purpose to go high definition. A Blu-Ray player to play all standard DVDs so if you have a collection of DVDs, you can see them with the Blu-Ray. So is an advantage because you can see Blu-Ray as well and enjoy true high definition. Blu-Ray is six times sharper than regular DVDs. The resolution is much larger than the image is very detailed, almost live in the future. The fund will be as sharp as the foreground. When there is a face of about one person, you might even see their pores. You can also watch TV programs in high definition buy the purchase of a terminal and contact your cable company. But will you, how can pay and the amount of television watched. If you like sports, can be seen perfectly in HD, widescreen format and be right too, that fits the resolution of your HDTV. Looking at a normal cable TV is good, but whether you see it with black bars on the side or you will have to adjust the settings and tighten image. Go Full HD is the way forward, but I know that the problem is to spend all that money.
